X2F Joins DVN: Strengthening the Future of Vehicle Lighting, Safety, and Innovation
December 10 2024
Paul-Henri Matha, CEO of DVN, states: “We are happy to have X2F on board. Their technology has proven added value to the automotive industry in general, and specifically to automotive lighting.”
X2F’s innovative technology, which allows plastics to be molded with 70%-80% lower pressure, is now found in several automotive applications:
- Overmolding PCBs with (thermally conductive) plastic
- Overmolding LEDs with transparent plastic
- Overmolding batteries for cooling/heating
- Replacing sensor housings by directly overmolding them with plastic
- Replacement of potting
Hans Velten, Director of Business Development Europe at X2F, adds: “Beyond making molding possible where it wasn’t before, our technology can bring massive cost savings for the automotive industry”.
X2F will attend the DVN Workshop in Munich in February 2025.
